At Ferrovial Digital Infrastructure (FDI), we specialize in developing data center assets, from land acquisition to design, construction, operation, and maintenance, always seeking efficient and sustainable solutions.

FDI has acquired land for a data center development and is seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Professional with expertise in economic-financial monitoring of infrastructure projects, preferably in the Data Centre sector. Your mission will be to ensure budget control, profitability, and proper financial execution of projects, working closely with Project Management, Procurement, and Finance teams within Ferrovial's Digital Infrastructure Division, as well as supporting and reporting to the CFO and Head of Projects Development.

The ideal candidate will lead financial planning, performance analysis, and reporting to support strategic decisions related to our assets, with a focus on developing our first data center asset.

You will collaborate with the Project Management, Procurement, and Finance teams and report to the Finance team and the Head of Projects Development.

Requirements :

Degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or Engineering (with finance-related training) and a strong interest in financial planning and analysis.
Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial analysis tools.
Knowledge and experience with SAP.
High proficiency in English.
Valuable : Experience in infrastructure projects, preferably in the data center industry; experience in international or multicultural environments.

Responsibilities :

Conduct annual budgeting, including data collection, variance analysis, and presentation to management.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance with guidelines and deadlines.

Identify trends and opportunities for financial and operational improvements.

Develop and maintain KPIs to monitor performance.

Implement systems, processes, and procedures in line with corporate policies to ensure robust financial controls.

Manage cash flow, including collections, payments, and investments.

Oversee internal controls and participate in audits, ensuring compliance with standards like SOX, IAS / IFRS.

Validate supplier and contractor invoices and control costs.

Perform ad-hoc analyses to support strategic decisions.

Willingness to travel as needed.
