FAAS – Financial Accounting Advisory Services

The opportunity

As a member of our team in the EY GDS Spain office in Malaga, you'll have a chance to extend your knowledge and experience by working on interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches. You'll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in digital transformation.

Your key responsibilities

As a member of our FAAS team, you will be able to participate in various services and projects such as :

Control / verification of operations funded by European funds

Consulting related to the management and control of European funds

Review of public grants

Audits of accounts of companies and entities in the public and private sectors

Audits of accounts of non-profit entities

Special reports required by current legislation

Reviews of financial statements

Skills and attributes for success

Strong interpersonal and good written and oral communication skills

Team player, with the ability to multi-task, flexible, and can work under pressure

Commitment to continuous learning and proactively implement new processes

Proactivity and initiative, customer orientation

Motivation and capacity for constant growth and development

To qualify for the role, you must have

Vocational training with a basic understanding of accounting

Great interest / ideally experience in verification work of European Funds, Next Generation Funds, financial control, financial auditing and review of grant justification accounts

English language skills (min B2)

Very good knowledge of MS Office Package
