Energy Portfolio Manager

Overview

Opdenergy is a growing independent renewable energy producer with presence in Europe, United States and Latin America. The company develops, builds, finances, manages and operates high quality renewable energy projects.

We are currently looking for an O&M Coordinator to give support to our projects globally based in Sevilla.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for management and control of photovoltaic and wind power plants portfolios. They will also manage verification of alarms and incidents through the monitoring system and generate reports with the main KPIs of the project.

They will have a high capacity for management and control of subcontractor activities, constant monitoring and inspections. Regular visits to plants will be required.

Contractual monitoring of all obligations during the exploitation phase of the projects will also be part of their responsibilities.

Ensuring compliance with contractual milestones, deliverables, and regular reporting to relevant stakeholders will be key to their success.

Preparation of annual operating budgets (P&L) and coordination with electricity companies and public authorities will also be necessary.

Knowledge of the environmental and legal measures of the country and applicable technical regulations, tests, inspections, required certifications will be required.

Qualifications

Experience in single axis trackers and configurations like those of our projects will be beneficial.

To apply for this role, you will need an engineering degree in Industrial, Electrical or similar, preferably with a Master in Renewable Energy.

You will also need to be fluent in English, have strong knowledge of the office package, especially Excel, and experience in O&M contracts.

A good understanding of SCADA systems, PVSYST, AutoCAD and other relevant tools will be advantageous.

At least 5 years of experience in the functions described will be necessary.
