Responsibilities Assisting and supporting the Investment Managers (not exclusively) in executing new investments in the Spanish small & mid-cap LBO market up to the investment decision and transaction closing, notably through :
support and assistance in the closing of deals.
Presenting new investment opportunities to the Investment Committee alongside the Deal Team members.
Attending business meetings with multiple third parties including M&A Banks, Debt Advisors, Management teams etc.
Actively assisting in monitoring Kartesia portfolio companies’ performance (e.g. review of monthly operating results, update of financial models and performance reports, attendance of Supervisory Board).
Maintaining the transaction database and document filing systems in compliance with internal procedures.
Assisting in the preparation of marketing presentations.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, or finance with outstanding academic results.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and fluency in English.
Up to 1 year experience in Private Equity, Private Debt, M&A, Strategic Consulting, Transactions, Investment Banking, or related fields.
Experience with services or financing (structured / leveraged).
Strong analytical and modelling skills.
Strong work ethic, team player with can-do attitude, rapid learner, ability to work autonomously, capacity for synthesizing information, and ability to work under pressure.
