What are we looking for?

Darwinex is seeking professionals with 1 year of experience in back office, payment support, and / or AML functions. You will be responsible for assisting with customer payment transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will handle various back-office tasks involving banks and card payment processors. Your role will be key to supporting ongoing operations across the organization. You will join our Back Office team, providing support to the Finance and Compliance departments. This position will also involve Customer Support (CST) processes. Responsibilities

  • Ensure all payment transactions are processed accurately and promptly, following standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor settlements, transfers, and payment providers; report daily balances directly to the Treasury Area.
  • Perform day-to-day compliance activities aligned with AML obligations.
  • Manage internal procedures related to clients’ personal and bank information.
  • Provide constructive feedback on processes to improve efficiency, service quality, and risk management.
  • Create, maintain, and enhance internal compliance processes essential for daily business operations.
  • Update company records with the latest treasury and compliance information.
  • Handle payment incidents and queries by coordinating with banks, payment providers, and other departments.
  • Support audits and internal reviews within the Finance and Regulatory Compliance areas.
  • Managing and overseeing client bank accounts.
  • Resolving client inquiries related to our products.

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in back office, payment processing, AML, and / or accounting roles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Integrity and honesty are essential values for the candidate.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Diligent, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage heavy filing and record-keeping tasks.
  • Customer-focused, with the ability to meet deadlines, multitask, and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Effective analytical and critical thinking skills, capable of independently solving problems.
  • Preferred : Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Law.
  • Strong team player with the initiative to support the team.
  • Able to complete allocated tasks with focus and in a timely manner.
  • Ideally familiar with payment schemes such as SEPA, SWIFT, and others.
  • Based in the Madrid area.
  • Experience in Back Office, KYC, and AML within financial institutions.
  • Solid knowledge of financial products and the financial industry.
  • Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
