We are seeking for a Intellectual Property Internship (IP) to join our IP & Innovation Team.

What you'll be rocking :

Assist in developing the most effective national and world-wide patent strategies and portfolios for company products and projects.

Assist in development of patentability, validity, infringement and freedom-tooperate opinions.

Analysis of patents and scientific literature on various development projects.

Search in specialized databases / literature and resolution of technical problems.

Drafting and filing of patent applications.

Processing patent applications (drafting replies to objections from the patent offices).

Respond to IP related queries.

Assist in making patent invalidation strategy.

Follow IP policies and provide critical and clear IP advice to internal members.

Follows Galenicum Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures.

What you bring to the table :

Interest in intellectual property in the pharmaceutical industry (Patent drafting and filing procedure in Europe).

Basic knowledge of EPC, regulations, guidelines and European registration processes.

Knowledge of the drug development process.

Basic knowledge of patent laws of EU and USA.

Educational milestone :

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry or related disciplines (Life Sciences).

Currently studying for a Master's degree.

Excellent level of English, spoken and written. Other languages are a plus.
