The Role

We’re looking for a Process Engineer to work in a daily basis with the manufacturer ophthalmic lenses laboratories across the world.

TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Engineer service support in the integration of new software, products and technologies into existing lab equipment platforms of third-party labs to successfully manufacture lenses made with any of the IOT technologies.
• Setting up and configuring new optical lens designs for customers
• Troubleshooting and resolution of software and production process deviations and issues.
• Quality control of ophthalmic lens production in optical labs :
• Surfacing department QC
• Coating department QC
• Process Improvement service to optical laboratories
• Collaborate from a technical perspective in the management of IOT customers (ophthalmic labs) with the sales and marketing teams of the company that work with the same accounts.
• Interdepartmental collaboration for multiple projects and tasks :
• Collaboration with the commercial team developing new strategies.
• Communication and collaboration with development teams to resolve software incidences.
• Consulting, customer service (not sales) and training customers
• Be responsible for maintaining a relationship with the customers and supporting all their needs
