Position Overview The Director of Market Access will lead reimbursement & HTA submissions across various markets in EMEA, covering Evidence, Value, and Access domains. The role involves working closely with global teams and external consultants, utilizing clinical data and economic models to establish reimbursement justifications, developing value dossiers, and managing national reimbursement roadmaps. Ensuring robust health economic data analyses and engaging with payers, government entities, and trade associations are key responsibilities.
Responsibilities Develop and execute reimbursement strategies across multiple countries in EMEA.
Create and manage health economic analysis tools and models.
Update and manage core value dossiers and HTA submission files.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, regulatory, and clinical teams.
Engage with Key Opinion Leaders and clinical societies.
Build relationships with trade associations and represent Shockwave at national levels.
Manage engagement with HTA processes and update country-level guidelines.
Monitor clinical trials and develop clinical and economic value messaging.
Prepare market access presentations and professional materials.
Supervisory Responsibilities Oversee 4 Senior Managers across the region.
Qualifications Minimum Master’s degree in a relevant field (Health Economics, Policy, Public Health, Business).
10+ years of experience in the medical device industry or related market access roles.
Experience with HTA submissions in European markets.
Leadership, communication, and analytical skills required.
Fluent in English and ideally 1-2 other European languages.
Willingness to travel approximately 50% within the region.
