Overview

Security Software Engineer - Tech Foundations at Alan. The Tech Foundations area enables Product Crews to experiment and ship product increments quickly, with security as a nonnegotiable attribute. This role focuses on strengthening security across our engineering organization and protecting sensitive health data.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen the security posture across the engineering organization, with hands-on experience in application security testing and penetration testing to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in web and mobile applications.
• Protect the organization from cyber threats by monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents, and working with platforms that support security operations.
• Contribute to building secure products and systems and ensure security is integrated into product development and infrastructure.
• Contribute to Tech Foundations goals such as infrastructure enablement, security and compliance facilitation, developer productivity improvements, and design / development unification (e.g., CI / CD, authentication, database anonymization, Design System).
