What are we looking for?

We are seeking a motivated and client-oriented Project Manager to join our growing team in the pharmaceutical industry. The candidate will manage moderately large or complex projects that require proven project management skills. Experience in biotechnology, fermentation processes, and upstream / downstream operations is preferable. The role involves planning, coordination, and execution of projects related to drug product development, mainly but not only for generic pharmaceuticals and APIs.

The challenge!

Assist in managing and executing projects related to the development and commercialization of APIs and / or drug products.

Understand the needs of internal and external customers, projects, and align them with Chemo's strategic guidelines.

Coordinate cross-functional teams, including R&D, regulatory affairs, clinical, manufacturing, patents, and sales to ensure project timelines, budgets, and objectives are met.

Analyze project characteristics and needs, evaluate processes end-to-end, support creation and maintenance of schedules, timelines, cost evaluations, and project documentation. Plan milestones and identify owners.

Assist in preparing project reports, presentations, and updates for senior management and stakeholders.

Participate in meetings with internal and external partners, vendors, and others as needed.

Communicate effectively and timely with clients and partners.

Monitor project progress, identify risks, issues, or delays, and collaborate on mitigation plans, providing alternatives or contingency plans.

Track and manage project budgets, identifying deviations.

Establish and maintain systems and communication processes (registration system, project progress info, deviations, actions) CRM, BI, etc.

Review project plans, status, and budgets for short- and mid-term business planning.

What do you need?

Education : University Degree in Life Sciences or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

Languages : Fluent Spanish and English; knowledge of additional languages is an asset.

Experience : +5 years in a similar position.

Specific Knowledge : Understanding of biotechnology processes, drug development, regulatory requirements. PMP certification is an asset.

Travel : Willing to travel worldwide.
