Database Specialist

Database Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Engineer to fill a crucial role in our organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing high-availability database solutions for scalability and security.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement and maintain databases with optimal performance and reliability.

Evaluate new database technologies and integrate best practices into the workflow.

Conduct thorough performance tuning and indexing strategies to optimize database efficiency.

Troubleshoot database connectivity, replication issues and security concerns in a timely manner.

Requirements

Expert knowledge of Oracle (RAC, ASM, Data Guard), MSSQL, PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, DocumentDB, MongoDB).

Strong experience with AWS RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB and EC2-based DB workloads.

Advanced automation skills using Terraform, Python, Ansible or AWS Lambda.

Experience with Linux or Windows OS scripting and a strong focus on automation.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in cloud migration strategies (DMS, SCT, hybrid setups).
