Here at CORUS we are looking for an IT Business Analyst / Project Manager to join our team on an international insurance project.
Location : Remote from Spain.
Your day to day will be the following :
- Plans, conducts / facilitates elicitation sessions for business requirements gathering with subject matter experts and end users
- Produces requirement specifications and outlines solution design documents throughout the project life cycle
- Contributes to business cases, including cost / benefit analysis, risk assessment, project scope definition and development of a high-level schedule
- Support data mapping, transformation, and aggregation to prepare data for tool integrations to ensure consistent flow of data from source systems to target system
- Participates in development of test plan, testing, implementation, and training activities
- Participates in production support & maintenance activities associated with core International Programs platforms and applications
- Create and coordinate release plans (in alignment with other related applications)
- Point of contact for developers and regular alignment meetings with supplier project manager
- Organize and moderate steering committee meetings
- Coordinate and plan various environments (Prod, UAT, SIT, etc..) activities (e.g. deployments, communications, outages, disaster recoveries, certificate renewals)
What do we need?
Proven experience Business Analyst and as Project Manager ideally in international projects with a clear solution and delivery mindsetSound knowledge of the insurance industry, ideally Commercial Insurance is of advantageSound experience in capturing complex business and data requirements, analyze them and translate them into easily understandable functional requirementsCompetence and experience in conceptualizing solutions and must possess in-depth, strong problem-solving analytical skillsBeing experienced working in an agile delivery environment, feeling comfortable in complex international project setups and able to work under pressure in a multi-vendor and multi-cultural setupExperience in application testing and supporting / organizing user acceptance testingA bachelor’s degree or comparable qualification preferably in IT, business information or equivalent3 to 5 years working experience as Business Analyst or Project Manager or Subject Matter Expert in the Insurance IndustryBalanced mix of business acumen as well as affinity to technologies, interfaces, systems as well as data and its structuresAdvanced English language skills, orally and in writingWhat do we offer :
