Junior Analyst, Commercial Excellence – BVI Medical
The Junior Analyst, Commercial Excellence supports the Commercial team by leveraging data to drive business insights and improve sales effectiveness. This role focuses on developing and maintaining Power BI and Salesforce dashboards, monitoring weekly sales KPIs, and ensuring high-quality CRM data. The analyst contributes to optimizing sales processes and systems, maintaining CRM data integrity, and providing actionable insights through analytics to boost sales efficiency and effectiveness. This position collaborates cross-functionally to support sales force effectiveness initiatives and identify opportunities for revenue growth and operational improvement in a fast-paced medical industry environment.
Responsibilities
- Dashboard Development : Build and maintain sales reports and interactive dashboards in Microsoft Power BI and Salesforce to track key performance indicators and sales metrics, delivering clear, actionable insights for sales and management decision-making.
- KPI Monitoring & Analysis : Monitor weekly sales KPIs, trends, and performance data; analyze results to identify patterns or improvement opportunities and provide data-driven recommendations to internal stakeholders.
- CRM Data Quality : Maintain the Salesforce CRM system with data accuracy and hygiene through regular audits, data cleansing, and updates to ensure reliable information.
- Reporting & Pipeline Management : Generate and disseminate regular management reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) including sales pipeline analysis, forecast updates, and performance against targets. Own the pipeline reporting process and provide visibility into funnel metrics and progress toward goals.
- Process Improvement : Identify and implement opportunities to streamline sales operations and workflows (e.g., lead management, reporting processes) for greater efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT as a data liaison; respond to ad-hoc requests and tailor insights to support local and global sales initiatives.
- Sales Operations Support : Provide analytical support for sales planning and forecasting, support Sales Force Effectiveness programs, and help maintain sales enablement tools and documentation to drive commercial excellence.
Qualifications
Education & Experience : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Marketing, or related field; 1–2 years in a sales operations, commercial excellence, or similar analytical role required. Experience in the medical / ophthalmic or healthcare industry is a plus.Analytical Skills : Strong quantitative abilities; proficiency with databases, SQL for data querying, and DAX for custom calculations in Power BI.Business Intelligence Tools : Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI and advanced Excel; familiarity with Tableau or Qlik is a plus.CRM Knowledge : Proficiency in Salesforce CRM, including reporting / dashboards and data governance. Salesforce administration experience is a plus.Communication & Collaboration : Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate data into insights for non-technical stakeholders and work across departments.Detail Orientation : High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple reporting tasks while meeting deadlines.Language & Culture : Fluency in English (written and spoken) required; additional languages are a plus.Additional Skills : Problem-solving mindset, proactive attitude toward process improvement, and ability to support a data-driven commercial excellence function.Company
