Your Tasks Development of the product data solutions (e.g. web-based applications, RESTful APIs, data-flow pipelines) using the micro-service and message-driven architecture approaches

Establish data integration from on-prem to the cloud as well as from external sources to the MediaMarktSaturn systems landscape

Implement end-to-end cloud native monitoring and alerting frameworks

Make use of serverless and stateless computing solutions (e.g. Cloud Functions, Cloud Run in GCP)

Assume end-to-end responsibility from requirements refinement with business stakeholders, creation of the technical concept to the implementation and continuous improvement of the solution

Drive technology innovation in the product data area

Your Profile University degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, business information systems or similar qualification

Several years of experience using Java, Spring Boot in developing backend solutions

Hands-on experience in software development

Practical experience in building large-scale, distributed software applications using resilience patterns in microservice architectures and RESTful API design

Knowledge of SQL- and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB etc.

Knowledge of quality assurance and testing methods

Expertise in building microservice solutions on cloud (preferable GCP) technology are a plus

Experience in data management, especially product data management in the retail industry is a plus
