Overview
We are seeking a Head of Data Science & Analytics to lead and elevate our data function at Heetch . This role blends technical expertise with strategic influence , ensuring that data is at the heart of every product and business decision.
What You’ll Do
- Leadership & Team Development
Mentor, coach, and develop data scientists and analysts to reach their full potential
Create growth opportunities within the team, ensuring they take on new challenges and expand their expertiseFoster a culture of analytical excellence, curiosity, and ownershipData Strategy & ExecutionDefine and drive the data science & analytics roadmap, aligning with business and product priorities
Balance predictive modelling, experimentation, and deep analytics to unlock strategic opportunitiesEnsure best practices in data governance, quality, and scalabilityExperimentation & Decision ScienceScale A / B testing and causal inference frameworks to support data-driven product iteration
Develop methodologies to measure impact and optimise key metricsPartner with PMs, engineers, and leadership to ensure data is a central part of decision-makingProduct & Business ImpactLeverage data storytelling and advanced analytics to influence strategic decisions
Bridge data science and product analytics, ensuring teams have the right tools and insights to move fastAdvocate for a data-driven culture, helping teams translate insights into actionChallenges You’ll Face

10+ years of experience in Data Science, Analytics or a related field, with 3+ years of leadership experienceProven ability to recruit, develop and mentor high-performing teamsDeep expertise in Python, SQL, and statistical modelling, with experience in production-grade data scienceStrong background in experimentation, A / B testing, and causal inferenceAbility to translate complex data insights into business actionsBonus Points
Experience in mobility, marketplace, or consumer tech industriesFamiliarity with ML in production and real-time analyticsHands-on experience with modern data platforms (BigQuery, Dataform, Vertex, Amplitude, etc.)What We Value
