Join us as an EHS Professional at Siemens Energy Spain, where you will be at the forefront of promoting Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards across various sites.
Collaborate with EHS, SO, and PM functions to ensure the Integrated Management System aligns with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards while meeting customer requirements and local legislation.
In this dynamic role, you will define and implement the EHS plan for on-site applications and regional activities, primarily focusing on Gas Services in Spain. Your efforts will be crucial in supporting EHS objectives and elevating the Safety Culture on our Service business sites.
What You’ll Do
- Be responsible for workplace safety, conduct risk assessments, and promote health initiatives to enhance EHS standards.
- Support the establishment of EHS plans to standardize approaches across the business in line with Siemens Energy and customer standards, as well as local and international regulations.
- Define, advise, and issue project-specific guidance in collaboration with stakeholders, including internal / external customers and contractors.
- Provide site training programs, coaching, and mentoring in EHS systems and processes to enhance EHS and Quality awareness and skills.
- Plan and conduct EHS engagements, inspections, assessments, audits, reviews, and status meetings with internal / external customers.
- Compile regular reports to present site EHS performance data, share weekly EHS updates with senior management, and support incident investigations to prevent future occurrences.
Qualifications
Master or equivalent experience in Occupational Risk Prevention (three specialties : Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics and Applied Psychology), with NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent experience preferred.Proven experience in EHS roles, ideally in the energy sector, with strong knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 9001 standards and auditor certification.Solid understanding of EHS legislation, environmental awareness, and international standards, with the ability to stay current and ensure compliance across diverse environments.Strong communication, coaching, and mentoring skills, with the ability to influence and embed a proactive EHS culture at all levels.Experience in incident investigation and risk management, including root cause analysis and implementation of preventive measures. Critical and structured and conceptual problem-solving skills.Fluency in English (German is a plus), with a valid driving license. Willing and able to travel domestically within Spain and internationally as required.About The Team
You will be part of the GS EU&AF EQS EHSR team, working closely with regional and local stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of EHS strategies and compliance across Spain.
