Founded in 2012 by cyber-security experts Eduardo Cruz, Josep Gaspar, and Josh Gabel, Qustodio is the global leader in online safety and digital wellbeing for families. We are looking to incorporate to our team an experienced Backend Engineer that is motivated and passionate by solving cutting-edge engineering challenges and automating QA processes, deployments and procedures.

Responsibilities

Solve cutting-edge engineering challenges and automate QA processes, deployments and procedures.

Qualifications

Have relevant experience with Python and Django / Django Rest Framework

Knowledge of the Django ORM and its backends

Knowledge of NoSQL databases

Experience with Celery and knowledge about its backends and brokers

Passionate about code quality

Oriented towards good practices and eager to improve programming skills

Apply software engineering fundamentals such as SOLID, GRASP principles in daily work

Uphold cybersecurity responsibilities, including secure coding practices, vulnerability assessment, and data protection

Nice to have : previous experience with microservices

Nice to have : designed hybrid SQL / NoSQL model schemas

Nice to have : experience with continuous integration and delivery / deployment pipelines

Nice to have : work with Kubernetes and its ecosystem

Nice to have : interest in staying up to date with the latest technologies
