Overview
Eurodrone is just beginning; we are looking for a candidate with aircraft systems engineering capabilities who is looking for an exciting new challenge in a multinational environment. This position focuses on implementing prognostics in the Eurodrone Programme within Predictive Maintenance.
This role requires knowledge of aircraft systems engineering and design, collaborating with stakeholders to implement prognostics capabilities in RPAS. The candidate will be a member of the Predictive Maintenance project for the Eurodrone Programme, specializing in design and development activities.
Responsibilities
- Manage design activities to introduce prognostic capabilities in RPAS, engaging engineering in the predictive maintenance project
- Manage, monitor and control project activities to ensure objectives and deliverables are delivered on time, on quality, and on cost
- Interact with stakeholders related to data generation and acquisition, suppliers, systems designers, system integrators, platform architects
- Act as focal point for Design and Supportability Engineering to manage requirements, participate in workshops, and discuss technical decisions
- Interface with areas in Airbus SAU, Airbus GmbH, Dassault and Leonardo, as well as Tier-2 suppliers from those nationalities
- Analyze aircraft systems failure modes (FMEA / FMES, FMECA, FC)
- Predictive maintenance analysis : aircraft hardware / software resources, customer data sharing agreements, ground hardware / software resources, prognostic approach, procedures in place, involved organizations
- Review and assess impact on aircraft systems design to determine equipment parameters needed to enable prognostic capabilities
- Lead the definition of selection criteria to identify aircraft components where predictive maintenance shall be applied
- Provide technical support to the team in using design tools (Cameo, 3DX, MATLAB…), analyze technical documentation (FDD, ICDs, architecture…) and prepare program meetings
