Are you organized, proactive, and ready to take charge of day-to-day company operations? Our dynamic editorial company, specializing in producing high-quality business and investment features for leading international media, is seeking an Operations Assistant to join our Madrid office.

Responsibilities

As the Operations Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient functioning of our office by handling :

Managing all telephone and communication protocols.

Coordinating mailing and correspondence duties.

Overseeing general office administration, including supplier management, purchases, and banking.

Planning and managing the office agenda effectively.

Maintaining the upkeep of the office environment.

Regularly using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) to support daily operations.

Organising logistics and travel arrangements for staff

Dealing with recruitment needs of the company

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you’ll need :

Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.

Fluent English and Spanish (B2 or higher; interviews will be conducted in English).

Strong IT skills and a willingness to learn new software.

Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.

A proactive attitude with a drive to learn and grow.

Exceptional communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
