Data Governance Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled professional to join the Enterprise Data Governance Catalog (EDGC) team. EDGC is our internal data catalog platform built on Collibra. The candidate will play a key role in the functional and technical development of the EDGC platform, including configuration, customization, implementation, and enhancement of Collibra capabilities. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders to understand user needs, translate them into technical solutions, and align with the product roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for the EDGC platform
• Configure and customize Collibra to meet business needs, including workflows, data models, and integrations
• Implement and maintain metadata management, data lineage, and data quality frameworks within Collibra
• Develop and enhance Collibra capabilities, such as APIs, connectors, and custom scripts (e.g., Java, Groovy)
• Provide user support, training, and documentation to ensure effective adoption of the EDGC platform
• Monitor and resolve technical issues, ensuring the platform\'s stability and performance
• Align platform development with the enterprise data governance strategy and product roadmap
• Stay updated on Collibra features, best practices, and industry trends to continuously improve the platform
