Oceanfreight Spain Procurement & Europe Pricing

Report to Spain Country Manager. Responsible for the negotiation and purchasing of the services required by the ocean product in Spain. Optimize Spain procurement based on local needs for growth, following global carrier strategy and maintaining strong relationships with carriers and coloaders. Assisting with Europe Ocean Pricing process, liaising with relevant stakeholders (Product, Pricing, business development, operations teams) maintaining effective communication and strong working relationships. Position holder will have a strong focus on data accuracy, process efficiency, and excellent time management and Excel tool capabilities.

Tasks and duties

Spain Ocean Procurement :

• Negotiate FCL and LCL ocean rates and allocation depending on local pipeline to increase our market share
• Visit and develop strong relationships with carriers
• Business development support and trade lane optimization
• Compliance and risk management

European Tenders & Request for Quotations (RFQs) support :
