Job Description
We are currently seeking a ServiceNow Developer to work exclusively with one of our top global clients in the pharmaceutical sector.
This is a full-time external assignment where the consultant will be dedicated to supporting the client’s global ServiceNow platform, focusing on the WSD module and leveraging the Citizen Development approach.
The role offers the opportunity to participate in the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of solutions, collaborating with international teams and contributing to innovation within a dynamic and forward-looking environment.
Scope & Main Responsibilities
- Configure, develop, and maintain the ServiceNow platform within the WSD module and APIs.
- Develop, customize, and maintain ServiceNow applications, workflows, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
- Design and enhance Service Portal functionalities.
- Manage incidents and requests on the platform, ensuring effective resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to deliver high-quality solutions and continuous improvements.
- Facilitate and lead client-facing workshops to advance initiatives into their next lifecycle phase.
- Analyze and resolve system performance issues, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with best practices and standards.
- Implement security policies using ACLs, roles, and groups.
- Document processes, configurations, and technical solutions.
- Develop prototypes and Proof of Concepts on the ServiceNow platform to drive innovation.
- Stay updated on ServiceNow product developments, related technologies, and industry trends to identify opportunities for broader platform use.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in ServiceNow development or similar engineering roles.Proficiency in ServiceNow platform development, including scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript), web technologies (HTML / XML), and ServiceNow APIs.Hands-on experience with ServiceNow modules, specifically ITSM and WSD.Experience with Citizen Development.Strong knowledge of ServiceNow development tools (Flow Designer, Studio IDE, Update Sets).Understanding of ServiceNow architecture, data model, and best practices.Experience developing custom applications and integrating with third-party systems.Experience with Service Portal design and development.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.Strong analytical mindset with customer orientation and problem-solving skills.Ability to work within and lead multi-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.Knowledge of relational databases.Knowledge of ITIL processes (incident, change management, etc.).Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with fluent English.Critical thinking, adaptability, and strong team collaboration.Nice-to-Have
