Company Description IrsiCaixa is a leading research institute in infections and immunity, established in 1995 by the "la Caixa" Foundation and the Department of Health of the Government of Catalonia. With a mission to find solutions for infectious diseases such as HIV / AIDS, COVID-19, syphilis, and Ebola, IrsiCaixa leverages its extensive expertise in immunology and vaccines. Over 100 dedicated researchers work to combat a broad spectrum of diseases and reduce the impact of infections.

VIRIEVAC combines virology, cellular immunology, and bioinformatics in the study of virus-immune interactions to understand the role played by T-cells in controlling HIV-1 and SARS-CoV-2 infections. Its ultimate goal is to define the functional features behind long-term effective cellular immunity against viral infections, thereby developing innovative immune monitoring tools and immune interventions.

Responsibilities I am looking for motivated candidates to join our laboratory through competitive national and international calls. The candidate will also contribute to the development of research projects, evolve their own research ideas and collaborate with our extraordinary research team. Looking forward to your proposals.

Qualifications Proficiency in Laboratory Skills and Research methodology

Experience in Teaching and mentoring students

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Ph.D. in a relevant field such as Biology, Immunology, or related disciplines

Experience in infectious disease research is a plus
