In August 2023 , during our second year of operations, we successfully raised a €1.2M seed round , allowing us to expand our team to 12+ people, now working from our beachfront office in Barcelona .

Fullstack Tech Lead – AI Focused

We’re looking for a Fullstack Tech Lead / Manager with strong technical leadership, a passion for AI integrations , and a deep interest in product-driven development. In this role, you’ll take ownership of key technical decisions, lead a small team, and play a pivotal role in building the foundations of the Workfully platform — bringing cutting-edge AI into the recruiting experience.

What You’ll Do :

Lead the design and development of platform features from concept to deployment

Drive the integration of AI tools into the product (e.g. Bedrock, LLMs, or vector-based search)

Collaborate closely with product and design teams to bring ideas to life

Mentor and guide engineers, setting high standards for code quality and architecture

Contribute hands-on as a senior engineer while scaling technical capabilities

Ensure robust observability, scalability, and system performance

Champion CI / CD practices, test automation, and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For :

8+ years of professional experience in software development

Proven experience leading teams or acting as a senior technical decision-maker

Strong fullstack expertise in the JavaScript / TypeScript ecosystem (Node.js, React, etc.)

Demonstrated experience with AI / ML tools or services , ideally Amazon Bedrock

Solid understanding of AWS infrastructure , especially ECS, EC2, and RDS

Familiarity with observability and performance monitoring tools

Experience with CI / CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks

A product-first mindset and eagerness to work in a fast-paced startup environment

Nice to Have :

Prior experience working in or leading teams at early-stage startups

Background in HR tech, marketplaces, or SaaS platforms

Experience using AI for recruiter enablement, natural language processing, or workflow automation
