The Contract Logistics Manager will be accountable for leading, directing and managing multiple site operations to ensure consistent high level service quality and client satisfaction, profitable cost efficient operations, and compliance with company policies and procedures and other
regulatory guidelines.
Also responsible for driving continuous improvement through operational areas. Will manage and coordinate all quality and inspection processes within our service center. Reviews operating budgets for revenues and expenses and monitors compliance to contracts.
Essential Job Functions :
- Lead, direct and manage site operations to ensure that the operations staff
- executes service agreements at, or above the client's standards.
- Maximize profitability through superior client service, effective and prompt
- communications and follow-up on all pending matters with the client.
- Make suggestions, identify opportunities and show initiative for process
- improvement
- Develops and validates quality processes and ensures compliance with client
- requirements
- Assess current processes and standard work flows to identify process improvement opportunities, utilizing organizational, analytical, Lean and six sigma problem solving methodologies
- Responsible to formulate and update work instructions and procedures of our
- inspection, handling and crating operations
- Manages, maintains and reviews internal process quality by training, auditing,
- observing, monitoring, client feedback and performance measurement
- Continuously review quality processes, procedures and capabilities in order to
- sustain the most cost effective and efficient methods for meeting quality
- requirements
- Plan and monitor daily staffing schedules, and adjusts accordingly to ensure
- adequate staffing levels that support operational demands and business
- objectives.
- Manage revenue and expenses to budget constraints.
- Responsible to train, develop and motivate employees to peak performance and growth in their knowledge and responsibilities
- Ability to manage the financial aspects of the department (purchasing, budget
- preparation and review, financial reporting and monitoring expenses).

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.8 -10 or more years contract logistics / national warehousing and distribution related experience required.
