Next-Generation Firewall Engineer – 12-Month Contract

Remote | Occasional Travel | Global Security Organisation

We’re working with a global security leader who needs a Next-Generation Firewall Engineer with solid hands-on experience.

What you’ll be doing

Designing, deploying, and managing Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) solutions (Palo Alto experience strongly preferred)

Creating and maintaining firewall policies, NAT rules, security profiles, and threat prevention configs

Troubleshooting complex network and security issues across global environments

Working closely with architecture and operations teams to improve security posture

Supporting or leading firewall migration projects from legacy firewalls to NGFW platforms

What we’re looking for

Proven hands-on engineering experience with next-generation firewalls

Strong experience with Palo Alto Networks NGFW (Pan-OS, security policies, App-ID, User-ID)

Experience with enterprise-level firewall deployments, upgrades, and cutovers

Migration experience is a major advantage (from legacy firewalls to Palo Alto or similar)

Must be fluent in Spanish (spoken and written)

Someone who takes ownership — not someone waiting for instructions

12-month contract

Fully remote

Occasional travel when required (not frequent)
