About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with strong JVM (Java / Kotlin / Scala) skills to join our Madrid team. You will work on high-impact systems used by some of the biggest players in travel. This is an opportunity to lead small, well-defined projects, support complex initiatives, and proactively improve existing systems.

The Main Missions

• Develop, test, and maintain backend systems in production environments using public or hybrid cloud infrastructure.
• Lead small-scale projects and contribute as a supporting team member to complex ones.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions.
• Integrate systems with APIs and multiple data stores while ensuring reliability and performance.
• Write clear, maintainable code following industry best practices and company standards.
