Role Overview
A fast-scaling blockchain infrastructure platform is hiring a Finance Director to lead all financial operations and strategy. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role blends hands-on execution with high-level leadership—owning everything from accounting and forecasting to fundraising, M&A, and investor relations. You’ll be a key advisor to leadership and external partners, shaping the financial systems that support international growth and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead accounting, reporting, audits, and financial operations
- Own forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking
- Partner with the CEO on fundraising, investor relations, and board reporting
- Manage corporate development and M&A from evaluation to execution
- Oversee investment strategy, cash management, and capital allocation
- Ensure compliance with SOC 1 and other financial standards
- Collaborate with legal and operations on contracts and risk management
- Build scalable financial systems for global expansion
- Advise on pricing, partnerships, and corporate structuring
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
8+ years in finance leadership, ideally in fintech or financial servicesProven track record in accounting, FP&A, and financial reportingExperience with fundraising, investor relations, and M&AFamiliarity with SOC 1 and financial compliance frameworksStrong analytical skills and financial modeling expertiseExcellent communicator with board-level presentation experienceHands-on operator with strategic visionCPA, CFA, or equivalent certification is a plusCompensation & Benefits
