Overview

Global IT Project Manager Content Transformation Healthcare (all genders) role at Merck Healthcare. Ready to explore, break barriers, and contribute to a global team innovating at the intersection of science, technology, and healthcare.

This role is fully remote and focuses on evolving our Content Ecosystem. You will collaborate with the Content Transformation business team to enhance content planning, creation, and regulatory review processes, and define innovative, AI-powered solutions that maximize business impact across regions and franchises. You will manage project backlogs, prioritize requests, and act as the Product Owner Proxy for the Content Ecosystem. You will oversee IT projects from start to finish, manage budgets, and align cross-functional teams to achieve successful outcomes. You will lead Sprint planning and participate in daily meetings to ensure smooth sprint execution. You will identify new opportunities and technologies to improve customer engagement and continuous improvement, aligning solutions with the strategic roadmap.

Your role : As a Global IT Project Manager for Content Transformation in Healthcare, you will play a pivotal role in evolving our Content Ecosystem and ensuring efficient, compliant processes in a global context.

Responsibilities

  • Lead IT projects from initiation to delivery for Content Transformation in Healthcare, coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with the Content Transformation business team to enhance content planning, creation, and regulatory review processes.
  • Define and implement innovative, AI-powered solutions to maximize business impact across regions and franchises.
  • Manage product backlogs, prioritize requests, and act as Product Owner Proxy for the Content Ecosystem.
  • Oversee budgets and ensure projects align with the strategic roadmap.
  • Lead Sprint planning and participate in daily stand-ups to ensure smooth execution.
  • Identify opportunities and technologies to enhance customer engagement and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a proven track record in implementing content solutions and supporting omnichannel strategies.
  • Strong project management skills, including agile methodologies; experience leading diverse project teams in an international context.
  • In-depth knowledge of content management solutions in healthcare, preferably including Veeva Vault PromoMats; experience with integrations to marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR) is beneficial for marketing initiatives.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus for global operations.
  • Excellent collaboration, social and analytical skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proactive in identifying and leveraging new technologies to enhance customer engagement.
  • Degree in a relevant field is preferred.
