ARQUIMEA , we are a technology company operating globally and providing innovate solutions and products in highly demanding sectors.

In ARQUIMEA SPACE develops spaceflight parts and equipment for satellites and launchers . We specialize in thermal control systems, structural panels, optical payloads, avionics, release and deployment mechanisms, and rad-hard microelectronics. Together with our tech partners we provide high-throughput smallsats and their subsystems . Our brand-new factory in Madrid is suited to integrate satellites and constellations .

We are looking for a Project Manager  with the mission to  lead complex space projects from conception to successful execution , managing interdisciplinary teams , coordinating with stakeholders , and ensuring projects are delivered on time , within budget , and to the highest technical and regulatory standards.

Tasks to be performed :

Coordinate , as main responsible, the complete life of space related projects assigned : planning, execution and closure.

Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time , within scope and within budget with the quality standards and procedures of the company.

Develop project scopes and objectives , involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility and appropriate risk management .

Coordinate project communications , managing the iteration with project stakeholders as subcontractors, partners and customers.

• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope , schedule and costs .

Report and escalate to management as needed.

Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation .

Required skills, experience and candidate profile :

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, specialization in Aerospace , or a related field.

Proactive, autonomous and team player .

Proficient in English .

The position is located in our Headquarters of Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid).

The candidate must be eligible to work in the EU and must be able to travel to the US.
