You are curious, resourceful, and enjoy teamwork? Those are the qualities we are looking for in our future colleague! Bring your skills into the world of 3D metrology and join the PolyWorks Europa España team as an Application Specialist to provide PolyWorks-related technical services.

Haven’t had the chance to work with PolyWorks® yet? Don’t worry, our team of experts will provide the best training to allow you to perform the following tasks:

• Acquire knowledge of our 3D metrology and collaborative data management solutions.
• Provide technical support as well as basic and advanced training to our customers and business partners.
• Assist our business partners by performing advanced software demonstrations adapted to the specific needs of our potential customers.
• Be present and provide assistance in our marketing events, such as: trade-shows, seminars, webinars, conferences, etc.
• Make strategic visits to clients in coordination with technical management and sales.
• Be involved in projects by developing advanced programming and integration.

This position is primarily for remote work in the area of Barcelona in close proximity to the office. Frequent travel across the Spain-Portugal territory is to be expected as well as very occasionally in Europe and to InnovMetric's main offices in Canada.

Qualifications

• A university degree in engineering and/or other science education that involves programming skills.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience and knowledge on manufacturing processes in industries such as automotive, aeronautics, energy, etc. and in 3D metrology environments, quality control and production processes.
• Proven experience in automation, integration, and robotics is considered an asset.
• Excellent proficiency in Spanish and fluency in English, both written and spoken. Speaking skills in Portuguese are considered an asset.
• A team player attitude and strong focus on satisfying the needs of the clients.
• Computational thinking, mastery of programming language such as Python, as well as IT and database skills. Additional knowledge of statistical inference and machine learning/AI would make for the perfect candidate!
• Because this position requires travelling to clients, you must have a driving license and be available to travel in Spain and Portugal.
