Overview We are looking for a Lead Delivery Manager to join our Delivery Management Team in Barcelona, Spain. In this role, you will work closely with large development teams or cross-functional projects, leading planning processes, tracking progress, and driving collaboration to deliver successful outcomes. You'll play a key role in streamlining workflows and improving processes for greater efficiency. This position requires experience with Agile / Lean methodologies, technical practices, metrics-driven improvements, and proficiency with Jira.
What You Will Be Doing In This Role Drive your team and projects to deliver value, improve workflows, minimize bottlenecks, and manage risks, issues, and dependencies effectively.
Apply Agile / Lean principles to adapt practices that best fit your team's needs and working style.
Establish and maintain clear prioritization, scoping, planning, and forecasting processes at both ticket and project levels, with a focus on measurable outcomes.
Deliver timely, accurate, and data-driven reporting to keep stakeholders informed and aligned.
Facilitate effective team and technical discussions, ensuring productive meetings, consensus-building, knowledge sharing, and strong cross-functional collaboration.
Foster a strong partnership between Tech and Product, serving as a trusted escalation point and resolving team issues.
Promote continuous improvement within your team, driving measurable progress on critical challenges and advocating for necessary changes beyond your projects.
Experience, Education, Skills, and Accomplishments 7+ years of experience in either Agile technical project management or software development across the full SDLC within a technology team.
6+ years of experience demonstrating strong communication skills, including producing high-quality documentation, delivering data-driven reports, and presenting insights to senior stakeholders (e.g., Business Unit Directors).
6+ years of experience planning and forecasting projects, ensuring capacity, timelines, and dependency management.
3+ years of experience with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams.
Experience with Agile transformation within organizations is a plus.
Exposure to working with multicultural, global, and remote teams, with adaptability to change.
Hands-on collaboration with development teams and a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile best practices (e.g., DevOps, BDD, CI / CD).
Proficiency in measuring and improving team outcome metrics and expertise in Jira, including project and board administration.
PMP or SAFe SM certification is highly encouraged.
About The Team You will join the Delivery Management Team in Barcelona, collaborating closely with Intellectual Property development teams and other cross-functional groups. The team manages large-scale or medium-sized development efforts and programs involving cross-team projects. The focus is on driving value delivery, improving workflows, and fostering collaboration to achieve measurable outcomes, with a strong foundation in Agile / Lean methodologies and metrics-driven improvements.
Hours of Work Full-time permanent position (40 hours per week), with a hybrid work model requiring 2-3 days per week in the Barcelona office.
