Overview CRM, Customer Success & Marketing Automation Associate – Mautic Specialist
This hybrid role combines hands-on expertise in Mautic with multichannel campaigns and customer success coordination across clients, internal developers, and the CEO. You will serve as the technical marketing operator ensuring campaign performance and as the primary contact for delivering value in our managed deliverability and ESP optimization services.
Key Responsibilities Manage the Mautic platform — installations, upgrades, plugins, security.
Access servers via SSH to audit and optimize cron jobs (segments, campaigns, webhooks, backups) with Dev-OPS support.
Handle triggers and messaging workflows, ensuring worker processes are functioning correctly.
Query engagement data using Amazon Athena (SQL) on our engagement_daily table to validate KPIs and generate insights.
Monitor email deliverability with tools like InboxTracker, Litmus, and MXToolBox, maintaining inbox placement rates.
Customer Success & Coordination Serve as the primary success contact for assigned accounts : schedule meetings, gather requirements, create tickets, and track SLAs.
Coordinate hand-offs between the development team, CEO, project managers, and clients, ensuring clarity on expectations, blockers, and timelines.
Present weekly performance reports highlighting growth metrics and next steps.
Gather client feedback and translate it into backlog items or optimization ideas.
Project Prioritization & Growth Manage JIRA boards with the CEO, prioritizing tasks to maximize ROI.
Conduct experiments such as subject-line tests and new segment roll-outs, measuring impact.
Identify and scope new customer opportunities fitting our email volume profile.
Requirements 2–4 years of CRM / Marketing Automation experience, with at least 1 year as a primary Mautic owner.
Proficiency in SQL (Amazon Athena), Linux CLI, and familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT or Copilot.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to marketers and executives.
Strong project management skills with attention to detail and a 'definition of done' mindset.
Lean, iterative approach to delivering value efficiently.
Experience with AI tools for rapid content creation and data queries.
Bonus Skills Familiarity with Optimove, Bird.Com, Klaviyo, Braze, or Iterable.
Alignment with Amazon Leadership Principles is preferred.

Success Milestones (30 / 60 / 90 days) 30 days : Set up a new sending domain, configure DNS, warm-up, SES credentials, Mautic settings, and documentation.
60 days : Manage customer success for a client, demonstrating continual growth.
90 days : Autonomously manage multiple clients end-to-end with minimal intervention and identify new prospects.
