Responsibilities Develop and maintain reusable, maintainable, and high-quality code for our Android applications.

Ensure code is optimised for performance, scalability, and security.

Collaborate closely with the product team to conceptualise, design, and implement new features and innovative experiments.

Actively participate in brainstorming sessions, providing technical insights to shape product ideas.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of our technology stack, adopting best practices and exploring new tools and frameworks.

Qualifications Proven experience in Android app development with a strong portfolio of applications.

Proficiency in Java or Kotlin, and a deep understanding of Android SDK.

Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.

Excellent knowledge of architectural and design patterns.

Strong experience working with Git versioning tools.

Commitment to code quality, testing, and documentation.

Bonus points Familiarity with Rx and coroutines for asynchronous programming.

Experience with dependency injection frameworks.

Proficiency with Jetpack Compose for modern UI development.

Strong skills in benchmarking and optimisation to enhance app performance.
