Overview
Workday Compensation Analyst - Full Remote (Spain or Portugal). Sedgwick Madrid, Community of Madrid, Spain. This role is remote based across Spain and / or Portugal and reports into a UK based Line Manager. The position provides complex technical support, administration, testing, and maintenance of HRIS systems (primarily Workday), including system enhancements / configurations, BAU activities, system auditing, managing setup tables and security. It involves collaboration with internal business COE stakeholders and vendor consultants to ensure system requirements are met and may require acting as a functional lead in Workday Compensation with capabilities across Time & Absence and Payroll.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical configuration, support & maintenance, and day-to-day functional and technical activities to maintain Workday and related systems.
- Review Workday modules predominantly Compensation and changes / updates to current modules and processes; act as a functional lead for Workday Compensation & Advanced Compensation modules.
- Identify future Workday system enhancements or functionality beneficial to the organization.
- Provide support for CR systems, researching technical issues and recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
- Partner with departments to understand business needs, communicate system capabilities / limitations, and translate into system design.
- Maintain change management documentation to satisfy audit controls and compliance best practices.
- Manage ongoing configuration, design, maintenance, and implementation of the human capital management application in Workday, including development of configuration specification documentation.
- Participate in review, testing and implementation of bi-annual Workday releases and other system releases or patches; determine impact, perform regression testing, and communicate changes / benefits to end users.
- Ensure procedures are followed and adequate internal controls are maintained.
- Work on special projects as assigned; automate internal auditing tasks by leveraging Workday reporting.
Qualifications
Education & Licensing
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
Experience
Eight (8) years HRIS or technical systems experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Skills & Knowledge
Advanced logic and configuration skills to implement new Workday functionality and create custom reports or integrations following Best Practices.Ability to support all aspects of Workday including configurations, business processes, security, reporting, and data integrity.Ability to collaborate across the business to understand system needs, assess priorities, and develop solutions.Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.Strong problem solving, analytical and interpretive skills; excellent organizational and project management skills.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.Ability to create and complete comprehensive, accurate and constructive written reports.Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies.Equal Opportunity
