THE ROLE

We are looking for a Financing Manager to join our team — someone ready to lead and create impact in one of the key pillars for our clients : public funding, tax incentives, and non-dilutive private financing.

What will you do?

  • Lead public financing strategy for startups and scaleups (ENISA, CDTI, regional and EU programs).
  • Design blended financing structures combining public and private non-dilutive capital with tax incentives (R&D tax credits, etc.).
  • Coordinate and review both technical and financial documentation alongside our analyst team.
  • Support clients end-to-end — from application to justification — ensuring a low-friction, high-value experience for founders and stakeholders.
  • Manage and mentor a team, setting clear goals, ensuring quality delivery, and promoting professional growth.

PROFILE

We are looking for professionals with 4+ years of experience in public financing (ENISA, CDTI, tax incentives) and / or a strong understanding of the startup ecosystem.

Must-haves :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Business, Engineering, or Science.
  • Proven experience managing public funding projects.
  • Previous experience leading teams and juggling multiple projects.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with both startup founders (CEO, CTO) and public sector experts.
  • Analytical and structured mindset, results-oriented, with excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.
  • Bonus points for :

  • Experience working at consulting firms or agencies specialized in public funding (ENISA, CDTI, tax incentives).
  • Hands-on knowledge of other national, regional, or European public grant programs.
  • Experience with EU projects (e.g., Horizon Europe).
  • Background in corporate finance, consulting, or startup operations.
