The role You will be a pivotal figure in the Procurement & Commercial department supporting the Asset Management (operations) business unit based in Spain. This strategic role aims to enhance operational excellence and cost-effectiveness across all contracts and sourcing activities. Join our team to lead, mentor, and drive meaningful improvements.

Lead and mentor a team, providing direction and inspiration.

Build and maintain robust relationships with primary suppliers and contractors.

Collaborate with managers to optimize commercial and procurement strategies, demonstrating a cost-effective approach.

Manage post-contract commercial activities, including contract management, claims, and key supplier relationships.

Ensure adherence to safety standards and procedures across all operations.

Provide comprehensive commercial support and ensure compliance with SSE’s procurement and commercial policies.

You have Proven ability to maintain contractual records and perform compliance audits.

Experience managing objectives in a dynamic environment.

Strong negotiation skills, especially with complex international contracts.

Capability in contract management supporting strategic organizational goals.

Professional skills in data interpretation, contract drafting, and strategic planning.
