Job Summary

Senior Director, Analyst – Risk Strategy for CIOs in the Financial Services industry globally on mission‑critical priorities related to protecting the firm from risk. Working closely with CIOs, you will provide insight on technology leadership in AI, cybersecurity strategy, governance, board communication, IT risk metrics, regulatory compliance, spending priorities, and strategic risk planning.

What are we looking for?

• Experience in the Financial Services industry. Gartner is looking for your technology leadership in the financial services industry in areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity strategy and governance, board communication, IT risk metrics, regulatory compliance, spending priorities, and strategic risk planning.
• A background in vendor selection of risk applications from financial services‑specific and cross‑industry technology providers.
• Demonstrated commitment to staying current with the technology (e.G. AI agents, quantum computing) and business model disruptions (e.G. open finance, real‑time payments, agentic commerce) impacting CIOs’ risk initiatives.

Base salary range : USD 152,000 – 190,000. Bonus and other incentives as described. PTO, 401k match up to $7,200 per year, stock purchase program.
