SAP System Architect

Overview SAP Basis Engineer : As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing SAP system installations, configurations, and upgrades to ensure the SAP ERP is secure, supportable, and functional for the business.

Responsibilities Manage SAP system installations, configurations, and upgrades (ECC, BW, PO, etc.)

Administer SAP HANA databases, perform system tuning, and resolve issues to minimize downtime

Support global teams to migrate interfaces from current ERP platforms to SAP Integration Suite, leveraging expertise in multiple SAP products in BASIS administration

Duplicate SAP systems using data replication methods approved by SAP, ensuring seamless system recovery and continuity

Plan and execute lifecycle activities, including proactive review and application of platform patches as required, to maintain optimal system performance and security

Provide technical upgrades and support of platforms environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams for smooth project execution

Create and maintain platform administration documentation outlining administration policies and practices, adhering to industry best practices

Handle SAP security, system hardening, and critical / major incident management, applying high-level autonomy in the technical area

Qualifications Experience managing SAP technologies as a Basis Administrator, with strong technical foundation and problem-solving skills

Expected to be SME, engaging with multiple teams and supporting key decisions, providing solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams

Ability to drive Continuous improvement, major incidents, problem management, and risk identification, proposing solutions and managing risks

High-level understanding of SAP architecture, open to learning new technologies, self-motivated, and eager to learn new skills independently

Strong verbal and written communication skills, team player with a proactive mindset, ability to coach junior colleagues, adopt changes, and respond to senior management and manage escalations

Experience running big environments : 20k+ users, 10TB+ databases, with English B2+
