The One Mission Society Europe and Middle East region has a vision to transform lives in dynamic communities. You'll serve in your area of focus while being part of localized summer ministry experiences. You'll also be poured into by a team of missionaries as you learn more about your gifts and passions. Our hope for this experience is that by the time you return home, you will feel more prepared to disciple people from other cultures, expand your skill set, grow in your relationship with God, and discern a long-term call to missions and ministry.

Spend your summer serving at the beautiful Peña de Horeb camp in the heart of Spain. Support summer staff and teams through meal preparation and service, assisting with clean-up, and completing other projects at the camp such as landscaping, routine maintenance, special projects, and other duties as assigned. You will also have the opportunity to host volunteer teams and plan children’s sports camps.

Responsibilities

• Observe and experience missions in Spain through the services provided to churches and groups by the camp.
• See the mission's team in action, participate in various meetings, and ultimately see what it's like to serve in this kind of ministry.
• Receive coaching, some lessons about your 'why' and job fit, and be part of a plan to help you grow spiritually through discipleship.

During your time with Embark you will serve with One Mission Society, build relationships with volunteers and teams, receive mentorship from experienced missionaries, work alongside a team of other like-minded OMS interns, expand and hone your skill set, and grow in your ministry approach to evangelism, discipleship, and communicating your testimony.
