Role
Senior DevOps Engineer — your mission is to design, build, and continuously optimize the infrastructure that powers Murphy’s AI-driven debt collection platform. You will ensure system reliability, scalability, and security while enabling the team to ship faster and safer. In our high-performing team, you’ll play a key role in scaling our infrastructure and development workflows with autonomy to make impactful technical decisions.
Responsibilities
- Design our infrastructure to comply with the high security and compliance standards our industry demands.
- Optimize and scale our databases, queues, Kafka brokers, and other components of our system.
- Evaluate, set up and maintain specialized tools and databases for AI workloads (e.g., LLM observability, vector databases).
- Develop monitoring, alerting, and observability systems to ensure platform stability and performance.
- Optimize cloud resource usage and cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with other teams to improve the developer experience, tooling, and internal operations.
Requirements
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with several years (7+) of experience in infrastructure, CI / CD, and automation.Solid hands-on experience with GCP or AWS.Strong knowledge of Docker and container orchestration (preferably Kubernetes).Experience managing infrastructure through Terraform or similar IaC tools.Familiarity with observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, GCP Monitoring).Knowledge of security practices in cloud environments (secrets management, IAM policies, etc.).Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Bash, Python, Node.js, or similar).Analytical mindset with a proactive and self-motivated work style.Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with both engineering and product teams.Our stack
