Mission

We are seeking an Expert / Advisor for our Madrid Site, specializing in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Ergonomics, and the Environment. The role involves assessing occupational and environmental risks related to processes, workstations, and equipment to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, standards, and corporate guidelines.

HSE Manager Functions and Responsibilities

  • Conduct risk assessments of the work environment.
  • Propose measures to control and reduce identified risks.
  • Educate operators about risks and prevention measures.
  • Monitor compliance with occupational risk prevention programs.
  • Participate in the planning of preventive activities.
  • Lead in emergency situations.
  • Ensure safe behaviors and proper use of protective equipment.
  • Encourage worker cooperation in preventive measures.
  • Maintain order, cleanliness, and proper signage in the work environment.
  • Assist in evaluating and controlling risks through inspections, complaints, and data registration.
  • Obtain and maintain ISO 45001 Certification.
  • Plan and coordinate audits for continuous improvement of occupational risk prevention.
  • Implement strategic sustainability projects, including supply chain monitoring, environmental regulation compliance, and maintaining ISO 14001 Certification.
  • Promote a culture of sustainability and environmental responsibility within the company.

Profile

  • Degree in Engineering (industrial, chemical, environmental) with specialization as a Higher Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention and training in Sustainability or similar.
  • Over 5 years of experience in industrial Occupational Risk Prevention; additional experience in Sustainability is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English and conversational fluency is essential.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations.
  • Advanced digital skills, especially in Microsoft Office.
  • Responsible, organized, methodical, with strong analytical skills, and good interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
