Public Affairs Manager RoleWe are seeking a professional to join our team as a Public Affairs Manager. This role will focus on designing and executing corporate public affairs and regulatory strategies in Madrid.The ideal candidate will have experience in consultancy or in-house public affairs, government relations expertise, and excellent analytical and communication skills.- Develop comprehensive corporate affairs and public affairs strategies to support business objectives.- Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments at national, regional, and EU levels;translate insights intorisk-mitigation and opportunity-seeking plans.- Prepare timely political and regulatory intelligence briefings, position papers, and stakeholder updates.- Build and maintain relationships with public institutions, government agencies, industry associations, and other key stakeholders.- Design and execute lobbying strategies and action plans, coordinating cross-functional teams as needed.- Support senior leadership in high-level engagements, conferences, hearings, and events.- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and communications teams to ensure alignment on messaging and regulatory compliance.Required Skills and Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in law, Political Science, Public Policy, Communications, or a related field.- Around 3 years' professional experience in public affairs, corporate affairs, or government relations—ideally within a consultancy or multinational environment.- Track record in regulatory monitoring, stakeholder mapping, and advocacy campaigns.- Excellent drafting and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable documents.- Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and shifting priorities.- Native or near-native command of English and Spanish;additional EU language (Portuguese, Italian or French), is a plus.- Highly organized, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.What We Offer : - A dynamic, international work environment with exposure to high-impact policy work.- Opportunities for professional development and participation in executive leadership programs.- Hybrid smart working arrangements.
