Overview

Senior Java Developer (Backend Services) role at Gameloft Barcelona

We are building the next-generation game backend services platform and are looking for a dedicated, talented and passionate senior software developer to play a leading role in this endeavor. You will work closely with clients and the infrastructure team to create state-of-the-art products for our games. You will be part of a cross-functional, cross-studio agile development team creating innovative enterprise-level technology solutions and will work with state-of-the-art cloud technologies that manage over 10 billion requests per day from over 20 million active players across more than 100 games.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in a team of high-skilled developers and DevOps
• Mentor and serve as a technical point of contact for the team
• Design and develop distributed, scalable, resilient, highly available services and systems with a focus on quality, security and cost efficiency
• Be involved in all product development and delivery stages
• Research and prototype various technologies useful for the project
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends
• Develop, deploy, support and maintain services that support Gameloft’s online gaming infrastructure (multiplayer services, leaderboards, authentication, social networks, and more)
