Overview :
The Technical Business Analyst will support the day-to-day delivery of our IP products by acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and the development teams. This role focuses on understanding business needs, translating them into well-defined user stories, and ensuring clarity and alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle. Working closely with Product Managers, Developers, QA, and UX, you’ll ensure requirements are understood, priorities are clear, and sprint objectives are achievable. While not a developer, you will bring enough technical awareness to confidently engage in delivery discussions, clarify requirements, and support solution decisions.
Responsibilities :
- Work closely with Product Managers and business stakeholders to gather, refine, and document requirements.
- Write clear, structured user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria to support day-to-day sprint delivery.
- Facilitate refinement sessions, 3 Amigos discussions, and delivery workshops to align teams on scope and outcomes.
- Support backlog management, ensuring stories are prioritised, ready for development, and aligned to roadmap goals.
- Map business processes and user journeys to ensure requirements are understood in context.
- Collaborate with developers and QA to clarify functionality, edge cases, and dependencies during delivery.
- Support UAT by preparing test scenarios, validating outcomes, and ensuring business acceptance.
- Track delivery progress, identify risks or scope changes, and communicate impacts to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain high-quality documentation in JIRA and Confluence, ensuring decisions and requirements are traceable.
- Represent the voice of the user and business throughout the development lifecycle.
Skills & experience :
Experience as a Business Analyst within a software or digital product delivery environment.Proven ability to write high-quality user stories with clear acceptance criteria and business value.Strong stakeholder engagement skills — confident working with product, technical and non-technical audiences.Good understanding of Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum / Kanban) and involvement in sprint ceremonies.Ability to translate business needs into delivery-ready requirements for engineering teams.Familiarity with backlog tools such as JIRA and documentation platforms like Confluence.Comfortable discussing solutions with development teams (e.g. understanding data flows, integrations, basic tech concepts).Strong communication, facilitation, and organisational skills.Experience supporting UAT or validation activities.Ability to manage changing priorities and maintain clarity under pressure.Protecting your privacy and the security of your data is a longstanding top priority for Bell Integration.
