Oracle Senior Technical Application Specialist

The Oracle Senior Technical Application Specialist is responsible for leading and supporting the design, optimization, and transformation of core business processes within Oracle EBS and Oracle Cloud ERP, focusing on areas like Quote to Cash, Inventory, and Purchasing. Key duties include overseeing the implementation of large-scale global integration solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration, defining project scope and sizing, and developing Proofs of Concept to validate architectural solutions. This position reports to the Manager Business Applications (IT) and is part of the Information Technologies Operations located in Spain and will be a fully remote role to cover countries in the EMEAI region.

Responsibilities

Utilize your expertise in Oracle EBS and / or Oracle Cloud ERP to design and optimize business processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Oracle solutions with a primary focus on global impact.
Lead and oversee the implementation of large-scale integration solutions, employing a variety of technologies.
Provide guidance and support in defining the scope and sizing of work related to Oracle projects.
Drive the development of Proof of Concept to validate architectural solutions.

Essential Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent field of study.

5+ years of application development experience in Oracle (SQL / PLSQL), Oracle APEX, Oracle Workflow, BI Publisher, OAF, or equivalent.

Conceptual and practical expertise in Oracle Quote to Cash environment.

Team player with strong technical and interpersonal skills.

Excellent organizational skills; ability to work independently and act as a resource for colleagues with less experience; capable of explaining difficult or sensitive information and building consensus.

Fluent in English and Spanish.

Travel & Environment

Ability to travel – couple of trips per year.

Nice-to-have

Experience with Agile Frameworks.

Experience in an international environment.
