Headquarter Senior Financial Controller

HQ of an important multinational Group is looking for a Senior Financial Controller based in Madrid. The ideal candidate will have around 5-8 years of professional experience in Finance, including at least 2-3 years as a Finance & Business Controller in a multinational environment. Previous Big 4 experience (audit or Transaction Services) is a plus, but candidates with only audit experience will not be considered. Experience managing multiple countries or business units is advantageous. A very high level of English is required. The workplace type is Hybrid .

Responsibilities include :

Coordinate group forecasts and annual budgets.

Analyze deviations in P&L, Working Capital, Cash Flow, and Net Financial Debt.

Ensure compliance with Group's reporting standards (Spanish GAAP, IFRS).

Communicate regularly with local Finance Teams across countries.

Provide high-quality financial reporting and analysis to support business decisions.

Develop financial dashboards and improve reporting systems.

Candidate profile :

Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field; MBA or Master in Finance is a plus.

5-8 years of experience in Finance, with relevant multinational experience.

Big 4 experience in audit or Transaction Services is a plus.

Experience managing multiple countries or business units.

Strong financial statement analysis skills.

Experience with month-end / year-end closing processes.

Knowledge of Spanish GAAP and IFRS.

Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools like Power BI; SAP experience is a plus.

Fluent in English and Spanish.

Willingness to travel occasionally.

Strong planning and organizational skills.

Attention to detail and data analysis skills.

Excellent communication skills to convey financial insights effectively.

Offer :

Salary : €50,000 - €55,000 + bonus, depending on experience.
