As our new Risk Analyst BNPL, you will organize and interpret statistical information to transform to specific actions. You will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor key BNPL / credit cards portfolio metrics : approval rate, application volumes, conversion rates, delinquency, charge-off, cost of risk, etc.
- Conduct regular portfolio analysis : segmentation, vintage / cohort analysis.
- Test and evaluate external data providers or decision tools (e.g., credit bureaus, fraud prevention systems, income verification services), and support their integration into the decision-making process.
- Support the development and enhancement of risk strategies (acquisition, limit management, collections, cross-sell).
- Participate in the design and testing of new scoring models and underwriting policies.
- Collaborate closely with Data Science, Collections, Marketing, Product, and IT teams.
- Prepare dashboards and presentations for the management.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Skills :
Strong analytical and mathematical skills and mind – at least 3 years of in credit risk, portfolio analytics, or scorecard development — ideally in the BNPL segmentStrong Knowledge of and experience with databases and statistics (SQL, Python) – at least 3 years of experience.Data visualization packages (Tableau, Looker, etc.).Proactive approach – you have proven experience in implementing your own proposals to impact visibly Risk KPIs.High attention to detail.Good organisational / time management skills.Team player.Knowledge / Abilities :
Analytical mindset, strong attention to detail and ability to get insights out of data.Solid understanding of the credit lifecycle (application → usage → repayment → default).Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Python, SPSS, SAS etc.).Methodological way of working and ability to cope with competing demands and prioritize tasks accordingly.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Degree in Statistics or Mathematics or a related subject involving math's, such as economics or data science.Fluent English - spoken and written.At least 3 year of experience as Data Analyst / Credit Analyst within Risk Department.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Analytical and strategic mindset.BENEFITS
