As our Backend Engineer in Barcelona, you’ll join us at an exciting moment : the launch of our new office in Spain! You’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our product and platform, working with a modern tech stack to deliver robust, scalable features. Who you’ll work with

You’ll join our Backend Guild, collaborating closely with Product, Platform, DevOps, and Frontend teams. We care deeply about quality, performance, and a great developer experience – supported by clean architecture, code generation, linters, templates, and test-driven development.

Requirements

What we’re looking for

We don’t believe in checklists - but if most of these apply to you, we’d love to chat :

5+ years of backend development experience.

2+ years of experience with a strongly typed language or TypeScript.

Strong experience with RDBMS (raw queries or via ORM).

Solid background in unit and integration testing.

Experience with message brokers (SNS, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Google Pub / Sub, etc.).

Bonus : Experience with Node.js, GraphQL, GCP or AWS, gRPC and protobufs.

Bonus : Strong grasp of SOLID principles.
