Senior Front End Engineer

Our Request :

The Platform team’s mission is to enable fast flow and reduce cognitive load for development teams by providing starter libraries, application scaffolds and enablement support for modern software development.

This work is part of a broader shift to improve developer experience, accelerate delivery, and ensure consistent application architecture across the organization. We’re looking for a Senior Engineer to join this team and take a leading role in shaping, building, and supporting these internal platform products with a particular focus on our UI component library and front-end developer tooling.

Office location is Amsterdam, Cardiff or Madrid.

As a Senior Engineer you will :

• Design & Build our UI Component Library : Lead the design and development of our reusable UI component library, ensuring it meets high standards of quality, accessibility, and performance while maintaining brand consistency.
• Evolve Front-End Scaffolding : Own and enhance our front-end application scaffolds (starter kits), ensuring new projects start from a standards-aligned foundation.
• Champion the Design System : Guide and support teams in their adoption of the design system and component library, providing hands-on enablement and using their feedback to improve the platform.
• Front end development : Where required, contribute to delivery of front end applications that fall within the platforms domain.
• Enable the Community : Create and maintain clear, effective developer documentation and training materials for our engineering community.
